When does Kohls offer Health Benefits to new employees?

My husband has an interview with Kohls for a District Manager position and we want to know when Kohls offers benefits to it’s employees…We have insurance now with his current job and we cannot take a chance on our insurance lapsing…do you know how long the wait is…60 days, 90 days, or is it immediately…and also, I have heard that they do a credit check before hiring..is that correct?

Credit Check, drug screening, 90 Day probation period.
Your husband could ask if waiting period could be waived, if it is that important, or carry over COBRA for old policy.
