OK time to haul out the party wardrobe and figure what stays and what goes. Definitely have to be heartless and purge and then get out there and find some  great new  cocktail party dresses so that the upcoming season will be a smash hit. I think I’ll start with shopbop which I find really helpful in the initial planning stage as I get my act together.  Their designer list grows, it seems, every week and some of the new designers are really interesting. I like their “Lookbooks” too which showcase some new aspect of what’s current. I should be able to report by the end of next week that I’m restocked and ready to go. Want to join me?

It’s long overdue - a decent party I mean and something to wear that isn’t a hundred years old.  I swear that since the great “D” word was reintroduced i haven’t bought a thing.  I’m totally fed up with the no shop edict from the Significant Other.  he makes it sound that the economy is all my fault somehow.  Conversely, I think it’s people like him who have everybody not spending a dime while all the stores go out of business.  So I’m going to do my bit for the country and head out and buy a couple of sexy winter party dresses. So I’ll look at shopbop for ideas and if I don’t see anything I like I’ll pop over to Providence Place and Nordstrom’s.  They’ll have something hot I’m sure.  Got to do my bit for the country.  Then Bunny’s party is next week. Woo! Hoo!

I really appreciate the okley m frames. There ar more than just good looking sunglasses. The protection they provide is indispensable. They protect the eyes from all the flying particles as well as the harmful UV radiation. On top of all that, they are really durable. I’ve sat on them, crashed face first on them, whacked myself in the head with a handlebar while wearing them, and they’re still scratch free, except that handlebar incident, a little scratch from that. I’d recommend getting the yellow lenses (I’d like to try clear to as a comparison point) for off road (in the trees) and night riding. The gold iridium lens is awesome for sunny conditions, a tad dark for most woods conditions though.
